Today I made a little friends cut. It was just necessary because with me being so little time on lj, I'm always a little overstrained when I look at my flist.
Mostly I deleted communities, but some journals, too. You sure are all great people but I just felt as we didn't have that much in common, I never knew what to write as a comment on your entries *shrugs*. And so I thought it would be more honest to make that cut. But if someone wants to stay, please comment :)

When I checked eye_jungle yesterday I noticed that Chrissy closed it down. I totally understand that you did that, Chrissy.
But I started thinking. Because I don't open ps much anymore. Maybe I should stop making arts alltogether. It's just that when I find the time, I only have pictures I found ages ago and they inspire me not at all. And so I end up doing searching pics I'll never use because next time it's all the same.
Well, now without a place to post my arts, I'll probably post them over here now and again I think. This journal was originally made for this reason, but now it feels awkward. Hm.
Oh great, this sounds all confused, I think I have to think about that a little longer to find some clarity.
The reason of this whole blabla was just to inform you, that there will be no future posts at eye_jungle ;)

Since we can move in our new flat this weekend I have to put on a little hiatus again.
Because this all happened so fast and we don't have any internet or phone over there until now and it will surely take a while.

I just love it there: the Atlantique, the food, the language (which I can't speak very well), the different landscapes,...

Dear f-list, I'm sorry. I try to read some entries but there's no chance to answer them at the moment. But I hope it'll change after the weekend.

My dad and sister came saturday with all my furniture (well, nearly, the forgot my cds! Most horrible thing) and we arranged all my stuff very fast. I even managed to go to IKEA (I love it, especially the sweden shop ;) ) and buy some things and missing pieces.
The whole sunday I spent painting two shelves so that they match each other. Now there's the mirror and the wardrobe left for painting, but that'll have to wait a bit.
Last week I already painted my wall with funny dots, some of you asked for pictures ( here you go )

My third week at work already started and there's so much to do. Yesterday I thought that my boss would talk to me today and tell me that I'm not fast enough or unproductive, but no, he told me today that he doesn't like it that I have so much pressure right at the beginning but that there's no other way because one of my colleague is in holidays and I have to carry on with her project (and I have my own one aswell).

Now as I'm almost done in my room, I have to pack my things again because squeetchy and another friend of mine are heading to Southside Festival on thursday right after work. I hope I don't forget anything, I was never in such a hurry before a camping trip.
And I still haven't decided between some bands. Should I watch aerogramme or beastie boys? Oh my. I hate such decisions.

But I really like my new home, my room mate is just so nice. With her you can talk as if you know her already for more than the few days. And "our" dog is a real cutie. She brought him from the states so we have to talk english with him. Funny :D

Oh my, I have to hurry! I wanted to do some boring but necessary stuff this evening and I did...nothing so far.

I just moved into my new room and discovered that the WLAN doesn't work. Well, it works just fine, but not for me.
We have a preshared key and I got the right one, but my notebook isn't able to connect. My system is xp, if that helps.

Has someone of you heard of something like this? I already phoned with our provider, but he had no clue :/

Exactly one year ago it was the first game of the world cup. Thank you to our german team and all the people who came and made this possible, it was one of my best summers ever.

My first week at work was just fine, I like the colleagues, no problems with the boss,... And the project I do at the moment is quite interesting, it's the garden for a kindergarden.

I just needed a break from packing my things, it's just not funny. All the time I find self-made books or other presents from my friends and get sentimental.
I'm through with the stuff in the cellar, but everything I took out of the cartons when I moved in again has still to be packed. And I have to go to the barn where all the furniture is to pick this stuff, too. But the good thing: our garden there is full of fruit and it's all waiting for me because my parents are on vacation.

But I'm really looking forward to decorate my new room and move in in the house, my roommates are very nice, and the dog ( a labrador) is so cute. The only bad thing about him is that he started something in my head, the nightmares of our old sweet dog started again. She died now five years ago and I still dream that she came back from her deathbed and lives again, just to die again. Last night I even dreamed she talked to me and said goodbye. That's so strange.

That's all I have to say for now, just wanted to stop by. It'll take a while until I can answer my flist entries properly, but I hope I'm back soon.

Just wanted to let you know that I'm fine. Today I already had the second day at my new office, now I'm back at the flat where I live for that week and I have some time until we all meet and go to the beer garden (don't know if there is such a place outside of germany).

Friday my mom and I drove here to Augsburg and visited the city, which is quite nice. I saw so many stores, I think it's a very good place to shop ;) While my mom did the shopping part, I looked for rooms in flat shares. That is a really funny thing to do because you meet so many different people. But I couldn't really enjoy it because I had to find a flat where I can move in on Monday.
Sunday I found absolutely the right place for me: a small House as a flat share, with a big living room, a nice kitchen and everything, a terrace, oh, and a dog! On Thursday I'll meet the second girl who will live there and then I'll sing the contract.
Nearby I found a stable with icelandic horses, when I moved in I'll go there to take a lesson. I missed riding so much.

Now to my new office. It's actually a big one compared to all my internship ones, including my boss we are 14 people I think. The funny thing was that when I walked there the first morning a car passed by and suddenly it stopped. It was a girl who was in the same semester at university with me! She started the same day like me, obviously they couldn't decide between her and me. I'm so glad I have her, it makes starting a lot easier.
My other colleagues seem very nice, too, though I must say that so far I liked my old ones much better because they were more open. But I'll see how it'll develop.

Today I also asked my boss if I can have one day off next week because of the festival I'm going, and he said yes! Normally it says in our contracts that we have no right to take holidays in our first 6 month. Don't know what I'm doing with my London trip now. That's really bad. I don't know why it is so, but if it's really like that, I'll have no day off until the end of year. Great.

Uff, it was so hot today, 32°. Summer is definately back. I realized today that I don't have semester break this year like in the last summers, so I have to work when it's so hot and I can't go swimming the whole day (I know, that's what most of the people do ;) ). Welcome to the real life.

I'm so happy right now, I got an eMail today which pointed out the possibility for another job interview. It'll be in Switzerland, just where I want to go! Now please do all cross your fingers, I hope they'll take me.
Now, weird, I also hope that the two others don't call to soon. Because if I get this one, I'll happily say no to the others. But I wasn't even there for the interview.

Yes, it's done! It was the final day of our premier football league yesterday, and Stuttgart really won the whole thing! I so hoped for this, and now it's real. Congrats to the VfB, they really deserve this (and I'm happy that it's not just once more the FCB who wins again).
I'm a little sad that Mainz is really going down to play in the second league now, and the FCK didn't manage to get in the premier league again. So all of the clubs from my federal estate are second rate for the next season :(

As I told you, I had the third job interview on thursday, but I don't think it went as well as the other two. It was a nice office near Munich, I'd prefer that one to the office where I was monday. Gah, I'm just too little self confident sometimes.

Yesterday we went to the movies and watched "The Fracture". Anthony Hopkins was just great as ever, and I really liked it. It had a good storyline, not too predictable. The whole time I tried to remember from where I know Rosamund Pike, but I couldn't. Well, she was the swordplaying 007 villain.

Today I finally have some new arts, they were made for my Edward-obsessed girls over at myfanbase.

And now I'm off to read in the garden, enjoying the perfect weather. I don't know why, but I'm reading Cornelia Funke's "Inkspell" for weeks now and I'm still only half through.

Tomorrow is my next job interview. At the moment I'm not really nervous about it, but since it is in a beautiful city, my mom and gran decided to come with me (they'll hit the town while I'm in the office). Don't know if I really like the idea. But I really hope it goes well.

My birthday yesterday was great, nice weather, all the kind messages, calls and letters, and we did a nice trip to Heidelberg. And now I'm the proud owner of my new mp3 player! This thing is just great, I spend a lot of time today loading it.

I also watched the European Song Contest yesterday. Normally I don't do that, but The Ark were there for Sweden, so I just had to watch. I was surprised how good the german act was, I didn't know the song before. Really surprizing was the british act. They have such good bands there and then send something this stupid.
But well, when it comes to the voting, one should turn the tv off. Gah. No points for quality, only for the neighbour countries.

Oh, I almost forgot: we booked our flights to London today! We're going one full week in september, but I can't hardly wait because I've always wanted to go there. Now, flist, who of you was already there and has some good tips where to go? Where to sleep? Besides sightseeing I really want to go shopping (especially at the rough trade store ;) ), see a concert/musical/theater and do one or two trips tothe countryside.

Because of the coming gilomre girls series finale I suddenly had the need to create something with the girls (well, and a boy, too ;) ). So I made three simple wallpaper. I'm really disappointed that they probably don't get a decent ending.
